Description:
Job PurposePerforms imaging of the patient used for the diagnosis and treatment of medical problems.
Handles the complete process from obtaining images, sending imaging, receiving results, and routing results to appropriate provider/location.
Assists location Medical Associates with daily office duties when job duties are complete.
Position includes travel to other locations for mobile x-ray servicesDuties and
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and relationship.
Assist with monthly supply orders of x-ray products.
Stay up to date on policies and procedures.
Must maintain stellar customer service skills at all times in all areas of the role.
Use beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
Process exposed radiographs using film processors or computer-generated methods.
Perform basic general x-rays of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot or ankle under supervision of physician.
Explain process and position patient for x-ray; adjusting restriction devices; moving and adjusting equipment to set exposure factors.
Any additional duties assigned.
