Tues-Fri: 7am-4pm
SUMMARY: Provides financial, operational and program support to the organization. Manage matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following, other duties may be assigned.
Oversees billing / finance departments.
Provides leadership to billing department.
Delegation of department daily duties.
Communicate changes in programs, policy and procedures.
Approves accounts payable/ receivable.
Approve Payroll
Review overtime hours
Communicate with offices/ departments for justification.
Verify payroll for submission.
Finance policy and procedures
Ensure that all care team members are informed of accounting policies, procedures and regulations.
Review policy and procedures update as needed.
Financial statements
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
Prepares monthly financial reports for board meeting.
Prepares annual budget for PCHG.
Oversees yearly audit.
Building projects
Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
Communicate with the IT Department in the development and implementation of efficient systems consistent with new software applications.
HRSA requirements
Serves as a liaison between the Company and external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Organizational cash flow
Reviews inventory of fixed assets, including assets purchased with government funds (computes, etc.) in accordance with federal/ grant regulations.
Develops and reviews cash flow projection to meet operating needs.
Ensure patient confidentiality and EMR security at all times.
Maintain patient information within HIPAA
Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site.
Consistently participates in and actively adheres to patient care expectations to attain clinical goals set forth in the PCHG Health Care Plans and the Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Billing, Finance, Purchasing, IT departments.
GENERAL DEVELOPMENT:

Displays enthusiasm toward the work, mission and vision of the organization.
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Current designation of Certified Public Accountant required.
Minimum of four (4) years related experience in a financial executive position.
Minimum of five (5) years of managed care finance experience.
Healthcare- related accounting and/or finance experience.
Membership of organizations or associations directly related to the healthcare and accounting industries.
COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS:
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Excellent grammar, spelling and interpersonal skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
